What is it? Saar’s Inc. has agreed to pay $475,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) by printing the expiration date of customers’ payment cards on receipts.
If you used a personal credit or debit card for a credit transaction at any Saar’s or Super Saver Foods stores between July 20, 2014 and July 18, 2016, and your payment card’s expiration date was printed on the transaction receipt, you may be entitled to compensation from the Saar’s class action settlement.
