Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026. This policy explains what information Claims Match, LLC ("Claims Match," "we," "us") collects through claimsmatch.co, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical information every website receives.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address and the time you signed up.
- Contact form: your name and email address, your phone number and the lawsuit you ask about if you provide them, your message, the time you sent it, and that you accepted these terms.
- Email you send us: whatever you include in the message.
- Technical information: when you visit, our hosting provider automatically records information such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the time. These logs are used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Usage statistics: we use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, how they found us, and which official links they follow. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named
_gaand_ga_followed by an ID) and receives information such as the pages you view, the referring site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. - Bot checks on our forms: when you use the contact or newsletter form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks your browser to tell people from automated spam. Cloudflare receives technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics for this purpose.
We do not offer accounts. We have turned off Google Analytics advertising features, including Google Signals and ad personalization, and we do not use analytics data for advertising. Please do not send us Social Security numbers, claim identification numbers, financial account details, or medical information. We do not need them, and we cannot check the status of a claim.
How we use it
- To reply to your message, including pointing you to the official administrator for a settlement.
- To send the Claims Match updates you signed up for. Each email will include a way to unsubscribe.
- To operate, secure, and fix the website, to see which pages are useful, and to prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few service providers that process information only so they can provide their service to us:
- Vercel, which hosts the website.
- Neon, which stores newsletter sign-ups and contact form submissions in our database.
- Resend, which sends our email updates, keeps the list of subscribers and unsubscribe requests, and delivers email notifications of new form submissions to our team.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics usage statistics.
- Cloudflare, which provides the Turnstile bot check on our forms.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to valid legal process, to investigate fraud or security problems, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business. Any new owner would remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.
Claims Match is not a claims administrator, and we do not file claims for you. When you follow a link to a court, a government agency, or a settlement administrator, that site's own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter sign-ups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. When you unsubscribe, we delete your sign-up, and Resend keeps a record that you unsubscribed so you are not emailed again. We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of our correspondence, and we then delete them. Hosting logs are kept by our host for a limited time under its own retention schedule. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, and Google Analytics cookies expire after up to two years unless you delete them.
Your choices and rights
We do not load Google Analytics for visitors in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland. To opt out of Google Analytics elsewhere, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (we do not load Google Analytics when your browser sends that signal), block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way.
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@claimsmatch.co from the address you used with us so we can confirm the request is yours. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time by using the link in any email or by writing to us. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor them as the law requires.
Security
Information is sent to us over encrypted connections, and access to our database is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Health information
We do not ask for health information and ask you not to send it. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains how we handle any health details you include in a message and your rights under Washington and similar state laws.
Children
Claims Match is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
