Spotlight: Pick-A-Part Customer Receipt Class Action Settlement

What is it? Pick-A-Part Auto Wrecking has agreed to pay $195,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) by printing the expiration date of customers’ credit or debit cards on their receipts.

If you made a purchase at a Fresno Pick-A-Part store using your credit or debit card from Dec. 22, 2014 through Oct. 28, 2015 and received a receipt that displayed the card’s expiration date, you could get up to $250 from the FACTA class action settlement.
