The class action lawsuit claimed that the company&#8217;s chips, pretzels and pork rinds are \u201call natural&#8221; contains artificial flavors.<\/p>\n<p>People who purchased Utz and&nbsp; Bachman snack products labeled as \u201call natural\u201d between Dec. 30, 2010 and March 30, 2019 can get compensation.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible products for claim include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Utz Branded Potato Chips<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;Baked Potato Chips<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;Branded Pretzels<\/li>\n<li>Utz Branded Popcorn<\/li>\n<li>Utz Branded Tortillas<\/li>\n<li>Snack Mixes<\/li>\n<li>Salsas and Utz Dips<\/li>\n<li>Cheese and Extruded Snacks<\/li>\n<li>Utz Branded Pork Rinds<\/li>\n<li>Bachman Branded Pretzels<\/li>\n<li>Bachman Branded Potato Chips<\/li>\n<li>Tortilla Chips and Corn Chips<\/li>\n<li>Bachman Branded Cheese Snacks<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;Popcorn<\/li>\n<li>Bachman Branded Salsa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Case Summary<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Lead plaintiffs Matt DiFrancesco, Angela Mizzoni, and Lynn Marrapodi filed a case against Utz and Bachman that the products allegedly contained artificial ingredients. The plaintiffs say they would never&nbsp; purchase the items if they know earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, according to the Utz, Bachman class action the products has non-natural ingredients despite label like \u201call natural,\u201d \u201cnatural,\u201d \u201cnon-GMO,\u201d or \u201cnon synthetic,\u201d. The plaintiffs claimed that the Utz did wrong to them by selling non natural product under natural label.<\/p>\n<p>However, Utz agreed to pay $1.25 million to settle the class action lawsuit that will save them from unwanted expenditure and litigation. Moreover, according to the terms and conditions of the settlement, the Class Members can receive up to $20 for their each valid claim.
