Amazon has agreed to give 12 million free audiobooks to customers to resolve an Audible membership credit class action lawsuit against it.<\/p>\n

The customers who were charged on another card rather than originally designated payment card for membership between March 10, 2013, and Aug. 17, 2018, may get compensation from the settlement.<\/p>\n

The class members include Audible customers who lost their unredeemed paid membership credits from March 10, 2013, to Aug. 17, 2018. Further, the gift class members include audible customers who bought or redeemed an gift membership between Aug. 11, 2011, and Aug.17, 2018.<\/p>\n

However, when a customer already canceled their membership with Audible, they were allegedly forced to give up their credits for which they had paid.<\/p>\n

So, to highlight this issue, the Audible class action lawsuit was filed by plaintiffs in March 2017. Further, the plaintiffs claimed that the Audible wrongfully did cheating by asking them for out of credits payment for membership.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the plaintiffs argued that the Amazon charged them for the service that was not authorized to be used for Audible subscription payment.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Amazon and Audible ready to settle the class action but also did not admit any wrongdoing by settling the claims. However, they settle the case to get out of the unwanted expenses.<\/p>\n

Moreover, according to the settlement, Class Members need not submit a claim, they get benefit on the basis of proof.<\/p>\n

These individuals should receive an initial email regarding the settlement. Further, if the settlement gets approval at the final approval hearing, then the class members will receive an email to claim their settlement award as well.<\/p>\n
