The Alarm.com class action lawsuit alleged that more than 1.2 million consumers were get call.<\/p>\n<p>The Telephone Consumer Protection Act, or TCPA, prohibits Alarm.com and Alliance from using telemarketing calls without permission of consumers.<\/p>\n<p>The TCPA also created the National Do Not Call Registry in which consumers can add list of their cell and landline numbers.
