The company stated that they did not do anything wrong, but they will still comply with all the regulations of TCPA. The TCPA came into existence in 1991 by Congress to manage the usage of telemarketing services by the companies.<\/p>\n<p>Under this protection act, it limits the way by which companies can contact the customers. If anyone found violating the rules, they will be charged steep fines of $1,500 per violation.<\/p>\n<p>According to the settlement documents, around 12,000 people have received unsolicited text messages from the company.
