A $150,000 Gift Card Fees Class Action Settlement is now open for all the customers who purchased the MGM gift cards at Costco. This settlement is for all the consumers who also had the inactivity fee deducted from the balance of the card.
\nYou will get money from this class action settlement, if you have purchased a gift card from Costco and were subjected to a fee between October 24, 2010, and July 31, 2018.
\nThis Costco settlement resolves the allegations that customers were not told about this fee before they made the purchase. Now, Plaintiff David Hanson has filed this lawsuit in 2016 after buying 140 cards at a hotel.
\nThe card class action lawsuit says that members were not fully informed about this fees as required by the federal law. Moreover, the plaintiff also claims that he also read the disclosure before purchasing the card, but they were kept in a belief that no fee will be charged until the conclusion of the eighteenth period of inactivity.
\nHowever, the Costco gift card fees class action lawsuit stated that neither the company addressed how much fees would incur, nor it stated the date when fees would actually begin.
\nThis MGM card fees law action settlement resolves both the defendants of this allegation. However, if you want to be excluded or wish to object to its terms, they must do in writing no later than Oct\u201915, 2018.<\/p>\n
